A little bit about us…

About us…

New Constellation is the Brainchild of Producer Engineer Jarrett Pritchard and Jeremy Miller. Started in 2012 the remote company quickly grew into a full fledged Studio when we Decided to lease Eric Schillings studio house in around 2014. Originally it was just housing the equipment set up for some mastering and Light overdubbing. As it would happen a friend was in need of emergency Drum tracking and was brought in. The rest is…History?

Where to even begin this remarkable journey? Both Jarrett and Jeremy, who both hail from Virginia, possess extensive and impressive professional careers that have significantly shaped the music landscape. They are skilled touring sound engineers and systems engineers, while also excelling as designers and front-of-house mixers. Their broad array of clients in this capacity has included notable names such as Kiefer Sutherland, Dr. John, Dave Matthews, Dead and Company, Lifehouse, the Norwegian black metal band 1349, as well as Celtic Frost and Triptykon, among many countless others. Throughout their careers, they have designed, mixed, and delivered an impressive collective total of around 300 hours of broadcast television, in addition to producing surround and film mixes and spots for reputable magazines such as Revolver. Their innovative work in immersive audio design has involved collaborations with acts like Louis the Child and 1349 as well. As studio engineers, their album production, mixing, and mastering credits trace back to the vibrant music scene of the 1990s, showcasing their long-standing dedication to the craft.

Utilizing a hybrid approach to mixing and production, we expertly combine the best elements of both digital and analog technology. As individuals who have experience as musicians, we bring valuable insights to performance and songwriting that enhance our creative process. We truly handle every aspect of the production, from meticulously tuning the drums to refining the instrument selections and crafting distinctive tones. Our goal is to ensure that each production is unique and stands out in its own right. Simply put, we do not rely on templates for mixing or any other part of the process; each project is treated as its own individual creation, allowing us to bring a fresh perspective to every piece of work.
